Las Vegas, NV - The Red Piano Show

Those of you who were there that night already know - this was a special day for sure!

Happy 61st Birthday, Elton!

Old76 and Suezq traveled to Las Vegas, to meet up with some friends from the eltonjohn.com forum. 

Our forum friends had organized a gift for Elton, a lovely floral arrangement.  Old76 designed a one-of-a-kind birthday card to accompany the gift.  To top it off, the EJ Forum also donated $100 to the Elton John Aids Foundation.

Although our seats were up high, we were able to watch our friends as the boogied with Elton during Saturday Night's Alright for Fighting.  They were wearing old76 t-shirts, with the prints of the birthday card on them.

These shirts were clearly visible from our seats in the clouds!  We know that Elton noticed them also, because he looked at each one and said "thank you".

Suezq got another thrill that night when she was able to meet Davey Johnstone after the show for a few words and a handshake.  Thanks, Davey!
